Concerto Presents at the HRMA Conference

Last month Concerto Marketing was proud to be a part of the drive for people, passion and profit in Canada. Nick Black, Vice-President at Concerto, was invited by the BC Human Resources Management Association to speak at their Annual Conference. The 75 minute session provided an overview of our 2009 Trust Study, and explained to over 100 HR professionals “why trust is the key to building a strong organization, and how organizations and brands can harness trust.”

We would like to thank the conference team at the BCHRMA for inviting us to speak, and the BC Association of Clinical Counselors for sponsoring our session. In keeping with our brand essence of certainty, we thought we’d share the evaluation scores provided by some of our session attendees:

Concerto Sponsors the BCAMA Vision Conference

Last week, Concerto Marketing Group was a sponsor of the BCAMA Vision Conference. The annual conference brought together over three-hundred of the Pacific North-West’s best and brightest marketers, to explore “shifts in consumer behavior, attitudes and business practices.”

Some of the conference speakers who “discussed how companies must adapt in order to capitalize on these shifts,” included Jeremy Gutsche (Founder of Trendhunter.com), Jeffrey Hayzlett (Former CMO of Kodak Eastman) and Terry O’Reilly (Author of The Age of Persuasion).

As part of our conference sponsorship, and in keeping with our brand essence, we were proud to deliver a small taste of “Certain Tea” to our fellow marketers on the day. A big shout-out to friends at David’s Tea, who helped us ensure there was plenty of “Certain Tea” to go around.

Concerto Presents in Manitoba

manitoba2Last week Concerto Marketing took a road trip to the unseasonably sunny province of Manitoba. Nick Black, Vice-President at Concerto, was invited by the Dairy Farmers of Manitoba to give a keynote address at their Annual Nutrition Forum on Friday April 24th. The keynote provided an overview of our 2009 Better Together Study, exploring the motivations and drivers behind family meals.

We also managed to squeeze in a luncheon with the MRIA Prairie Chapter on Thursday April 22nd. This was an interactive session, designed to share our qualitative research methodologies with other members of the Canadian market research community.

Interesting Vancouver: The Six Drivers of Trust

Back in October, Nick Black, Vice-President at concerto marketing, was invited to speak at a multi-disciplinary conference called Interesting Vancouver. At the conference he shared insights into the psychology of trust, including results from our recent North American study on brand trust.
